Hey all you princes, princesses, and knights! I’ve put together some of my favorite fairy tale preschool theme ideas to help you plan.
(Note: This post contains some affiliate links/ads.)
1. Read Fairy Tale Pets
This is such a silly read-aloud, especially if your preschoolers are already familiar with popular fairy tales. Click here to check it out on Amazon.
2. Play this fairy tale rhyming game
Match the rhyming pictures with these cute fairy tale rhyming cards, which are part of the Fairy Tale Circle Time, Centers, & Printables pack in my TpT store.
3. Make nature-INSPIRED wands
Make fairy or wizard wands using sticks found in nature (just like these from Mini Mad Things.) Use feathers, string, sequins, leaves, and anything else you can dream of to make each wand unique!
4. Download the fairy tale cutting freebie
You can snag this freebie in the Free Resource Library. (As a matter of fact, once you subscribe, you’ll gain access to a ton of other freebies, too!)
5. Transform your dramatic play center into a castle
This AMAZING cardboard castle is from Amazon (currently about $30), but I’m sure you could easily make your own with a big cardboard box.
6. Play this fairy tale literacy game
Preschoolers can match letters with images that match their beginning sound with this fairy tale themed literacy center. This printable is part of the Fairy Tale Circle Time, Centers, & Printables pack in my Tpt store.
7. Make Fairy Play Dough
Just look at this fluffy play dough from Laughing Kids Learn. It’s made with just three ingredients: hair conditioner, corn flour, and pink/red food coloring. Make sure to check out the full details over on their blog.
I hope you liked these preschool fairy tale theme ideas! Be sure to check out the full set of printables here. Thanks for stopping by the blog!
